Bellingham Marine and Corosxcaps
Designed and produced by Marine and Industrial Enterprises in New Zealand, the CorosXcap has proven to be a welcomed addition to the Unifloat Marina system. If these marina caps had been around in1996 when Bayswater Marina was built we would have saved thousands of dollars on maintenance, CorosXcaps have been a great invention, the caps keep the salt air and any wave splash out, they give the Marina the finished look.

Half Moon Bay Marina and Corosxcaps
Half Moon Bay Marina has operated a 500 berth Marina located in the City of Sails, Auckland NZ since 1970.
We completly upgraded and replaced the floating structures with Bellingham Marine’s Unifloat system over 1994/95. At the time there was no products available to protect the galvanised steel components of our marina system other than Lanocote grease. It quickly became apparent that we needed to do more to protect the through bolts, nuts & washers from galvanic corrosion, but at the time nothing was available on the market. Over the years, I searched the globe to find a suitable product to protect these components, trying after market plastic caps from Australia & Europe along the way.
After 15 years in service we commenced a “half life” refurbishment of our Marina Sytem replacing all the nuts & washers along the way. This time I was determined to ensure maximum protection of these components. We choose Coro X Caps because they have been specifically designed for the purpose. Only Coro X Caps offer full encapsulated protection of both Nut & Washer, with these in place we are confident we will significantly extend the life of these components of our marina system.
